Reduced from £25 a weighty tome, the postage to me in Kent is £4.25. Capt Alfred Carpenter ,later Commander, V.C. was in charge of the lead ship HMS "Vindictive ". It's hard to make an objective decision about the value of this raid despite all the hindsight available. Heres what Capt Carpenter is quoted as saying in "Voices from the Past - The Zeebrugge Raid -1918" by Paul Kendall .Frontline Books Request Does anyone have a favourite book about the Zeebrugge Raid 1918 to recommend?I could treat myself to one more! I have got: "The Zeebrugge & Ostende Raids 1918"- Deborah Lake "The Zeebrugge Raid " - Paul Kendall And the book below Thank you Edited 7 May , 2023 by FionaBam Add ond to title
