Simon J Emmerson Posted 4 May , 2023 Share Posted 4 May , 2023 Good day, Here is a studio photo postcard of Pte Arthur or Archie Harrison. Apologies the writing is hard to decipher. Of the Derbyshire Yeomanry. Taken in February 1917. Can anyone explain to me please why he's wearing Royal Engineers Signaller Arm bands?

Hi Ray, Thank you for sharing his medal index card. Looks like this is the chap. Prior to been issued his RE Shoulder titles and Cap badge. The photo was also definitely taken in Egypt, which ties in nicely with his index card. Once again thank you for the reply and information.
