Terry Denham Posted 7 April , 2005 Share Posted 7 April , 2005 Today I heard from CWGC that the MoD have accepted this soldier below for CWGC commemoration. L/Cpl Stanley Edward HALL 10983 1 Bn, King's Own (Royal Lancaster Regt) Died 23.03.16 Age 21 Buried Millom (Holy Trinity) Churchyard, Cumbria, UK This man was captured on 28.08.14 in France and repatriated in ill health in early 1916. He died within a few weeks. I put this man forward for commemoration on 25.09.04 after the main research had been undertaken by fellow Pal, Andy Moss. I'll let him relate this man's sad but interesting story.
