Indian Army List abbreviations

Can anyone please help me understand the exact meaning of the below entry in the Indian Army List for DAQMG. Specifically, I am trying to understand exactly what: (Lv., ex I., m. c., 6m.. 9 Mar. 22) means.

I take it to mean that Capt. Irwin is officiating for the real DAQMG, Lt.-Col Gill, while he is on six months leave which commenced on 9 Mar, 1922 (this is from the April 1922 List). But what about the rest of it? ex I., m. c.,

Thank You

Dear Peter,

Quite. But such entries are wide-spread.

Kindest regards,

Kim.
