G'day Bryn,

One of the 5th ended up in the RNAS. Flight Sub Lieut Keith Ross MUNRO was KIA over Polygon Wood flying a Sopwith Triplane (N6290 "Dixie") on August 9th 1917. I came across him during my research on Aussies in the RNAS. Do you have a photo of him??

Regards,

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Would you believe I've just found this post from you?

Thanks very much for that information; I had no idea and have just updated the record.

I don't actually have a photo of Munro, but know where one is: 'The Queenslander', 7 Aug 1915 p24. I'll try to get it next time I'm back in Queensland; a mate of mine has some of the original 'Queenslanders', but that won't be until about January.
