Very interesting, and thanks for posting. The article refers to "a rare and detailed contemporary map of the system" - can you provide any info on this, please?

I've just spent an interesting hour looking at my notes and reading three more articles on www.wessexarch.co.uk  about the Perham Down trench excavations of 2016. I think that your aerial photograph shows those at grid reference 249460, east of Perham Down Camp,  whereas the articles (though,  confusingly, referring to "Perham  Down trenches") are about archaeological digs at Bedlam Bottom, to the south at 252474. A map of the latter system is on this thread of 2021.

(You'll see that I got very excited - and confused - about a postcard that I thought might show the Bedlam trenches.)
