exXIX Posted 31 March , 2023 Share Posted 31 March , 2023 21360 Cpl Spence SS 12th Batt Yorks Regt, was mentioned in Haigs despatch of the operations at Cambrai, he was part of 40 Div and his award was for actions around Bourlon wood in the nov of 1917. Where could I get a copy of this despatch. I have tried the London Gazette and can find the award date but nothing else.
