My Great Uncle served in the Royal Field Artillery and was awarded the MC for his actions on the above date. There were 14 fatalities that day, many from the Kings Royal Rifles. The batallion were part of the 111th Infantry Brigade of the 37th Division, all these diaries are available via the NA and will help you build a picture of the battle on your given date.
