Good afternoon, im currently trying to trace who a St Johns Ambulance War Service Enamel badge was issued to, it has the numnber 5084A 

 

can anyone shed any light?

Hello London Scottish and welcome to the Forum

Could you post an image of the badge, usually it would hang from a bar with London , Bedford etc etched in....

A quick look and I cant see anything obvious, you could perhaps contact the Museum of the Order of St John, which I think is in Clerkenwell SE London

It is at St John's Gate, Clerkenwell and one of the volonteers was very helpful when I was researching a man from the village who died serving with them, having driven his ambulance off a pier at Le Havre. Here's the link https://museumstjohn.org.uk/
