Could any please tell me the WO/ number of the 282nd R.F.A., not sure if it was a.f.a.? Thank you,

It was an Army Brigade - WO95-5494 Allocation Units

Prior to becoming an AFA on 20th Jan 1917 on 20th Jan 1917 they were part of the 56th Div. Its RFA service is in WO 95/2941/1.

The 56th Div Artillery NA records are missing the period over the Summer of 1917; it was an awful time.

However I have found missing WD pages at RA Museum so it could be worth a look.

NB The search facility is not very easy to use.

Hi Robert, thank you for replying to my post, in an other post i put on the forum its mentioned that the gentleman I was looking for served with 126th brigade a.f.a. and also the 282nd a.f.a. so I will check there diary for August 1917.
