green Posted 17 February , 2023 Share Posted 17 February , 2023 Could be a lamp for blackening sights. Place oil on wick ,light and place flame on sight depositing soot. Alternate simple version was to stuff 4 by 2 patch in .303" or 7.62 case, soak with oil and use as above. Fired 9mm case was the cap. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
