jimmyjames Posted 8 April , 2005 Share Posted 8 April , 2005 Morning Derek Managed to get to Bourtie this morning after the foul weather in my bit of Aberdeenshire yesterday. There was no outside War Memorial in the (very small) village or in the Churchyard. There may well be a Roll of Honour in the Church, but unfortunately it was locked. There were two Paterson family headstones in the churchyard but no mention of either William or Michael. I also visited the two local War Memorials at Inverurie and Oldmeldrum but no Paterson was listed on either. I'm just sorry that I could'nt help.
