He was transferred to Reserve on 15/04/1919 and received a pension for Laryngitis? and Pulm TB aggravated by service. George Jones died from pulmonary TB on 20/07/1920, aged 35. He is buried at Bolton (Astley Bridge) Cemetery. The husband of Clara Jones of 23 Greenwood Vale, Bolton. A strong case with evidence to support commemoration if a forum member wishes to seek the DC.
