8055Bell Posted 10 January , 2023 Share Posted 10 January , 2023 George Jones was discharged with a pension for wounds to the abdomen. George died from phthisis on 07/05/1921, aged 36. The husband of Elizabeth Jones of 50 County St, later 21 Drury Ln, Oldham. The widow’s pension was ultimately cancelled due the disease being contracted after discharge.
