8055Bell Posted 4 January , 2023 Share Posted 4 January , 2023 John Houghton enlisted in 7th S Lancs on 01/09/1914. He disembarked in France on 18/07/1915. Severely wounded in 1916, he returned to France with the E Lancs. He was discharged 17/01/1919, with a pension for GSW to chest and deafness. John Houghton died on 11/12/1920, aged 30. He is buried at Hollinwood Cemetery. The husband of Dorothy Haughton of 273 Ashton Road, Oldham. Cause of death unknown. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
