Pte 11724 William Kershaw Stott – 2/1st Yorks Dragoons

William Kershaw was conscripted to train with 68th TRB and transferred to the Dragoons.  He was discharged with a stomach ulcer that was not attrib or agg by service on 23/05/1918.  William died on 28/01/19120. He is buried at Hollinwood Cemetery. The sone of William Kershaw & Annie Stott of 11 Hathershaw Lane, Oldham

WFA/Fold3 have a pension claim card which indicates was discharged 23.5.18 and he got a disability pension of 5/6 pw  from 14.8.18 to 3.12.18 for an unspecified condition [5/6 pw was the rate for a Class V / Pte sodier with a judged 20% degree of disability]
