8055Bell Posted 1 January , 2023 Share Posted 1 January , 2023 John Parker served in the NCC with a history of imprisonment. Date of discharge isn’t clear. He died on 27/05/1919 and is buried in Hollinwood Cemetery. The death was registered in Bucklow and may have been at Baguley Sanitorium, where numerous soldiers died from TB. Cause of death and connection with service unknown but intriguing to see a conscientious objector case.

Find a Grave have this https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/215862762/john-parker and attached what could be relatives' headstone They suggest his burial was 3/5/1919 - which rather suggests FaG have likely had access to burial records and plot numbers.
