T8HANTS Posted 31 December , 2022 Share Posted 31 December , 2022 I have been loaned this photograph of the Isle of Wight Rifles, which I think is just post war (Mods please be tolerant). All the lads in the photo have their belts fastened with the tongue wrapped around the chape in a method I have not seen before in any other photo of the Rifles, nor anybody else. So did the lads do this for their group picture, is this a recognised method of belt fastening that I haven't picked up on yet, are there any other pics of the same style out there? Thoughts please!
