Andrew P Posted 2 April , 2005 Share Posted 2 April , 2005 No.3190 L/Cpl Sidney Rupert Thatcher of the 55th Battalion AIF was killed in action on the 2nd of April 1917 near Doignes France. He is buried at Lebucquiere Communal Cemetery Extension, France. Thatcher who was 22 years old, came from Bega in New South Wales. He was a Clerk in civilian life.
