Old Tom Posted 2 April , 2005 Share Posted 2 April , 2005 Royal Artillery – Corps and Army units Does anyone know of a book or other source of information on these units. In particular, the guns they used (type and quantity), the units allocated to each formation, and if this allocation was fixed or changed to suit operations. KONDOA Posted 2 April , 2005 Share Posted 2 April , 2005 OT, A good resource is: History of the Royal Regiment of Artillery; Western Front 1914-18 - General Sir Martin Farndale KCB also "Allocations of Siege Battys., RGA" [WO95/5494]. "Order of Battle of the British Armies in France" issued by General Staff, GHQ, on 11 Nov 18. The latter is a snapshot view at the date of publication.
