We are pleased to announce the line up for the 2023 GWF conference, and to open up bookings. The date is Saturday 25th March 2023, from 10.00 until 17.30. As usual we're having the conference at the Tally Ho conference centre very near Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham.

The line up is -

Christina Holstein - "Recovering the Fallen of the French Army after the war"

Bryn Hammond - "Franco-British Liaisons"

Stephen Barker - "The Flying Sikh - Hardit Singh Malik, the RFC and the First World War"

Stephen Badsey - "What Western Front? - British Alternative Strategies 1914-1917"

Peter Hart and Gary Bain - "Laugh or Cry - the British Soldier on the Western Front 1914 - 1918"

As usual, there will be the pre-conference get-together at the Old Contemptibles pub in central Birmingham on the Friday evening before the conference. Also, pals are more than welcome to bring along books to sell, or items for display.

The cost for the day is £42 per person including lunch and tea/coffee. To secure your place, please pay a deposit of £10 per person, using any of the methods set out in the Donations page -

https://www.greatwarforum.org/donations/

Any questions, please let @AlanCurragh know. Can I just stress that the conference is open to everyone - every year we have new people coming along to their first event, as well as returning pals.

Many thanks

Alan - on behalf of the GWF
