Ivor Anderson Posted 5 February , 2023 Author Share Posted 5 February , 2023 Finding this book to be a fascinating compilation of statistics. The difference in the number of awards to each regiment & battalion is obviously significantly connected to the amount of front-line service they had, and the number of major actions they were involved in. collectorsguide Posted 18 February , 2023 Share Posted 18 February , 2023 Ivor,Here's a challenge. *Pick a regiment, *Find how many DCMs and MMs there are to the Regiment. *Track down all the recipients, then arrange them in alphabetical order, in their correct Battalion with the theatre of war, in which it was awarded. *Do this without reference to this book. *See how long it takes you, and how accurate your research has been. *Report back Other GWF Members, have a go yourselves.
