The 1/8th.were part of 167th.Brigade commanded by Lt.Col.Beevor

On 23rd. April the 56th.took over the sector north of the Arras-Cambrai road and held the seventeenth corps front. On the 21st. May it is noted the 8th. Middx. raided near the Tilloy-Wancourt road and captured four prisoners and a machine gun.On June 24th. a platoon entered enemy lines and inflicted casualties. The division moved to Villers Chatel after handing over to the 2nd. Canadian Division.I hope this information helps, although i'm sure their is more out there!
