Mates,

Sorry about this but the name came up when a 68 Sqn (2 Sqn AFC) was sent on a course to this place to lean about 130 hp Clerget engines

He was shown based at Harlaxton (possibly the Grantham area?) at the time?

Upavon appears to be North of Thruxton Airdrome, was their any thing there?

All, this appears to be before the unit sailed to France middle 1917

These names are new to me and it looks like he traveled from around Essex to Wiltshire, I am i missing something

Steve

CFS Upavon was located in Wiltshire about 1.5 miles SE from Upavon Village.

See: https://www.upavonpc.co.uk/community/raf-upavon-history

RFC Harlaxton was 2 miles South of Grantham. 68 Sqn was located there from 30 Jan 1917 until September 1917.

What is missing is the name of the individual you're researching.

Who is "He" ?
