Recommended Posts

This sketch was an war diary Appendix of April 1915 2nd South Wales Borderers courtesy of Ancestry. It shows the designated beach, each formation, boats used even the number of trawlers getting the men to shoreof rowing boats.

Note in box for right formation of Y Beach, '? 1 Coy : 24th is A Company. A good account of the 30 hours ashore at Y Beach is in 1 KOSB and A Coys part an addition to 2 Swb.

Thought it may be a useful tool.
