brianmorris547 Posted 1 December , 2022 Share Posted 1 December , 2022 (edited) Trevor This map, which I have cropped, is in the September 1916 WD of 14 Div HQ GS WO 95/1867 and it is marked Cap Trench (Square T 1 b). Op Order 102 in the WD of 41 Infantry Brigade does not mention it. There is another map in the WD of the Commander RE on which it is shown as the German Third Line. The December 1915 WD of 14 Div HQ GS WO 95/1864 has this mis filed map dated July 1916, again showing the trench as the German Third Line.
