My initial thoughts were Royal Naval Division Anson Battalion? I'd be very greatful for any help in identifying the Cap Badge. I’m glad to help, he’s flattened his cap down quite a lot and even raised the leather chin strap to sit under the badge giving a much lower silhouette almost like a workman’s cap.
