delta Posted 9 November , 2022 Share Posted 9 November , 2022 I have been trawling, with no success, contemporary sources and air photos for descriptions of the German barbed wire fences used to protect major trench lines in the area of Flers, Martinpuich and Eaucourt l'Abbaye in the autumn of 1916. Can anyone assist?

Gerald Moore Posted 15 November , 2022 Share Posted 15 November , 2022 This distant view of the Flers Line may be of some interest. The view is to the east towards the village from the Starfish on Sept. 22, 1916.
