Preserved trench system Havrincourt/Ribécourt

Interesting preserved bit of trench system half-way between Havrincourt and Ribécourt. Imagine this was from the Cambrai period? Hindendburg Line? Why might this have survived. Just too rough for arable?

It’s from the 2002 TV series The Trench. I found a photo of the crew the other day and all the material from the IWM exhibition launch.
