The latest Stand To! (No.128, October 2022) contains a highly complimentary review of my father's self-published biography of Major General Bertram Reveley Mitford (72nd Brigade, later 42nd Division). The eminent Great War historian Peter Simkins describes it as a "balanced and objective study, which offers a fine blend of narrative and analysis. The author is to be congratulated on producing such a well-researched and well-presented volume himself, given a lack of support from established publishers."
