Questions related to a 1917 map of Somme

Good day,

I acquired that map from a Canadian collection. It is an ordnance survey, dated april 1917 of the area of Doullens/Albert in the Somme.

It is marked: sheet 57D, Edition 2. Scale 1:40,000.

My question is related to the traits in red and in green in the map.  What does it represent?

Good day,

It appear that some text disappeared.

This map was acquired from a Canadian collection.

There was a Canadian hospital in Doullens that was bombed in may 1918.

I think that the Albert area was part of the 1918 spring offensive.

Thank you!
