War Office department/organisation lists

Does anyone know if there are any lists of War Office department or organisation lists that are available?

I'm looking for any from 1914 through that might show details of the Central Army Pay Department (who managed some of the pensions pre-MoP) etc

Can’t answer your question directly but there is a researcher called John Black who has written extensively on the subject APOs. One of his articles is of the WFA website which has a reasonable looking bibliography which might, if you aren’t already aware of them, help to point you in the right direction.
