Woodsman Posted 28 October , 2022 Share Posted 28 October , 2022 Hi all, I'm trying to locate medals/death plaques to six men who served in the 11th Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment, and who either became casualties or prisoners of war during a German trench raid on 25th Jan 1917. Here are the names of the men; the first four were KIA and the last two were taken POW: - G/6541 Pte Charles William Jupp - G/15839 Pte William James Cuthbert Laker - G/15771 Pte Bert Meadwell - G/15747 Pte Walter May - G/6540 Pte Bertram Jenner - SD3948 Pte Arthur Strudwick My aim would be to acquire any available medals/death plaques to these men. Any help given towards this aim will be hugely appreciated. Thanks and kind regards, Phil
