Can anyone shed any light on the first disability for Thomas Bell please - "Contrachia" left hand. Can't find anything for this. Thanks.

It’s not some sort of contracture type condition like dupytrens contracture is it?

May be a good shout but I'm not sure. This man died from multiple sclerosis in 1932 and I wondered if the problem with his hand was an early sign/symptom of that.......
