There were a lot of small independent batteries armed with these, as well as German guns of similar vintage. Pretty much any siege gun for which ammunition could be found or manufactured was put to use (obsolete field guns less so, as there was less fire effect to outweigh the significant drawbacks of excessive muzzle flash and recoil).
