Coldstream guards Soldiers

I have started to look in to my family History and have a great image of my greatgrand father in WWI uniform, but I have no photo of he's Brother who served with the Coldstream guards from 1907-1914, would it be possable to get a photo of him from the RHQ of the CG in london?.

You could try but I dont believe they have a database of photos

I take it you have the details of him from DuRuvignys Roll of Honour?

Hi Coldstreamer, I think you are right about having a Database of images

I think there not much chance there.

I have not heard of DuRuvignys Roll of Honour I have been able to gain some information from a cousin who has also been doing a family tree.

PS. What is DuRuvignys Roll of Honour

Hello

Its a roll of some men killed in ww1. I believe the relatives of the decd had to pay for articles to be in the book

I will email the details later...

The Naval and Military Press reprinted it in 2003. You can see a good explanation of the books from them, link.
