JohnH Posted 2 July , 2022 Share Posted 2 July , 2022 I found a letter amongst my great grandmothers papers dated 6 December 1917 from a chaplain at the Dreadnought Seamen's Hospital, Greenwich. The letter relates to the health of my great uncle Bruce Henderson, Shetland R.N.R. service no. L 465 who was a patient there from 5 December 1917 until his death on 17 January 1918. I have attached part of this letter showing the chaplain’s name which I can’t make out. I hope someone can help identify him.
michaeldr Posted 2 July , 2022 Share Posted 2 July , 2022 It looks like Frank Hutchinson to me
horatio2 Posted 2 July , 2022 Share Posted 2 July , 2022 I agree with @michaeldr . Hutchinson was probably not a naval chaplain. I cannot find him in Navy Lists or medal rolls.
