Perth Digger Posted 12 May , 2022 Share Posted 12 May , 2022 The AIR 76 file of James Charles Griffiths has the following abbreviations in 1918: CDD and USCMT. I've attached a copy of the file page for context, although I'm not sure if it is permissable to open it. CDD = some sort of Central depot? USCMT = .... Motor Transport? I think Griffiths was in 70 Squadron in 1916, but am not sure. Thanks Mike Acronyms.pdf

Perth Digger Posted 12 May , 2022 Author Share Posted 12 May , 2022 Thank you Diane and Dave. Looking at the place, it looks like Grove Park. Mike

Perth Digger Posted 12 May , 2022 Author Share Posted 12 May , 2022 Thanks, GT. I used to get a bus through Grove Park on my way to play rugby more than fifty years ago!
