Remembered Today:

George William Le-Fevre Killed In Action

SOMMESOLDIER

Recommended Posts

Hi There, :)

I am researching George William Le-Fevre, who served as C1722 Pte George Williams 17th Battalion K.R.R.C. Killed in action 3-9-16, or 5-9-16 ? Any ideas ?

3-9-16 ' Attacked with all Officers killed or wounded, heroic leadership shown by N.C.Os and men. One small party entered enemy's second line lead by a Rifleman'

This is quoted from Ray Westlake's Britis Battaloins on the Somme. Any further information, on him would be very much appreciated.

Cheers

Tim.
