`George William Kirk 19082 wounded around 19/6/1916 where? 9th Yorks & Lancs

Hi recently got this guys trio and is a namresake , he lost his rht arm as a result of a gun shot wound around 19th June 1916 I think!

I cannot find the War diaries for them and would like to find out where his Bn was around this time please.

Here it is on Ancestry. As the diarist seems to have recorded casualties carefully, and if your 19 Jun estimate is about right, I suspect that your namesake was wounded during the 'disastrous' raid on the German position at the 'crossroads in NO MANS LAND' on 20 Jun.

Addition 2: You probably have it, but pension card states that he was discharged on 06 Dec 16. No wounding date.
