I am hoping that one of the members can help.

I am loooking for information on the 326th Seige battery RGA.

I have looked on the long long trail, but its not referenced.

This battery was involved in the third Battle of Ypres, as one of its members Gunner John Edward Charlton is buried at Menin Road South Cemetery.

Can anyone help

Best wishes

Hello,

I am also trying to educate myself about the units of the RGA. In the main they were Corps and Army units and do not often receive individual mention in the books. If you come across a good reference please post it.

Regards

Old Tom

Chums,

If you search the forum you will find that Dick Flory has already answered this question several times.

326th Siege Battery

The other main source of information is the RA Museum Library in Woolwich.
