Hi All,

According to https://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bin/sse.dll?dbid=2706&h=450597&indiv=try&o_vc=Record:OtherRecord&rhSource=2352 he died in 1915, Something not correct. His father died 8.1.1896 and his mother died 11.6.1903.

Probate was granted to his sister Constance Cockeram Pidsley 1889-1932.

Wounded in March1917. This old thread refers:

"25th brigade,8th division 2nd bn rifle brigade - Unit War Diaries - The Great War (1914-1918) Forum"

History actually says he was twice wounded in this raid.

He is also in this transcribed list of 8th Gen Hosp Rouen War Diary for 21/5/17 with gsw back, penetrating chest.

"No 8 General Hospital, Rouen - Casualty Names from War Diary - Medical Services (Home and Abroad) - The Great War (1914-1918) Forum"

Sorry, no photo. Might be worth checking Anson period? At one point he was Div HQ?

I'm not familiar with Anson period. Do you have a web address as when I googled it I just got people called Anson

I assumed you were aware of his service in the Anson Bn of the RND before he was commissioned?
