HOWELL, Harry F, British Red Cross & St John of Jerusalem

MIC for a BWM & VM [as you might expect] - only a 'pair' and no date of landing [so not until after 31/12/1915]

B/w at TNA https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/D2977292 and in colour at Ancestry/Fold3 [no address on rear]

There is a Harry F Howell in the 1939 Register.

422 Chessington  Rd West, Epsom and Ewell

Bn 16.3.887 Newsagent and Tobacconist (retired). Poultry Farmer to supplement income. Wife Grace B Howell Bn 28.9.1889.

ARP Civil Hospital Reserve

The latter might indicate previous membership of the BRC and Order of St John.
