Mrs Dubaya’s great grandfather was reinterred at St Souplet and it’s been a few years since we were last there and not sure when we’ll be able to return. If you’re passing and have the time we would really appreciate an upto date photo Michelle. He is Lance Bombardier Percival Mogg Plot I, Row F, Grave 21.

cheers, J

Thanks for the offer Michelle, is Le Cateau Communal a possibility (he cheekily asks)?

Probably not, the Le Cateau ones are on a tight time budget.

Right, Ill leave it at that for now. Do you want the list on here or via a DM? Most are 1-4 men, but I do have 25 names on Vis en Artois Memorial. Im not expecting you to get them all but if you could get the 13 Lincolnshire Regiment names all on one or two panels, itll save any running around all over the Memorial

Stick the requests on here and I can copy all on this thread into my note book.

We are staying the night in Dury, so it’s a toss up which one we go to. I think we can see Mill from the B&B.

Just so you know, I do already have photos of all of these but the files are all 8-10 years old and of the quality of the cameras of the day. If you dont get any of them, then please dont worry.

Hi Michelle,

When exactly will you be in the area of Mons?? I might try and get a day off and join you there... it's only an hour driving from my place.

I’m not sure what day yet Marilyne. We arrive at Bavay on 16th April pm. Then we work out what day we do what. We have a couple of walks planned around Mons and a trip around Elouges and the road up to the sucrerie etc. I don’t think the Monday after Easter is a holiday in France or Belgium is it?

Yes, Easter Monday (18th) is a holiday in Belgium... and even for the European Union !!!

It’s been a while since I was over at Easter and couldn’t remember! The Monday might be a possibility for Mons, as there should be less traffic theoretically. The few times around Mons have always been challenging, Especially on  the motorbike….

I might join you ... if you'd have me around...
