Anneca Posted 23 February , 2022 Share Posted 23 February , 2022 (edited) I came across an old photograph of the North Irish Horse War Memorial Ceremony at Belfast City Hall on 30th April 1925. It does not actually show the memorial stain glass window but shows those at the ceremony. On the back of the photograph is the stamp of the printing company W.G. Baird. Written in pencil is "Unveiling of the North Irish Horse Memorial by the 9th Earl of Shaftesbury, Brigadier General Anthony Ashley Cooper, 30th April 1925, City Hall, Belfast". Michael Pegum Posted 24 February , 2022 Share Posted 24 February , 2022 (edited) Can anyone identify any of the others? Presumably, the Lord Mayor of the time*, and a Bishop, are among them. *Sir William George Turner. Possibly the Dean of Belfast (between 1919-1926), Thomas Gibson George Collins.
