Hello,

I have just come across a reference to Isenhurst VAD hospital Cross in Hand.

Does anyone have any knowledge or information about this?

Woodcote a care home near Coss in hand is believed to have been a convalescence home for Canadian soldiers.

Could this have been the same place?

Regards

There are a number of references to Isenhurst in this thread, but it is not noted as a VAD Hospital. It may be worth investigating however.

Woodcote Park Convalescent Hospital was in Surrey  and catered specifically for Canadian Soldiers:

@Jim Strawbridge is very knowledgeable about VADs and might be able to help.

Sorry, unable to help with this one. Also the BRCS seems to have been mucking about with their records website making finding actual record cards rather difficult. I like to actually see them rather than to be told what they say.

Many thanks, needs more investigating...

Woodcote seems to be a popular name for care homes, maybe they got the wrong info on their website...

Regards
