Can anyone tell me what the letters SFA and number 26759 mean please on the attached Pension Ledger Card.

I think it’s SFA.

SFA is a pension issue office reference used for payments made to men in the Royal Engineers. In the great system that is the civil service, every dept had to use their own reference numbers for the same cases.
