"Trench art" on Leckhampstead war memorial, west Berkshire

I've paused by this war memorial several times without realising that it features salvaged shell cases, bullets and bayonets.

Though many photos show the shell cases supporting the surrounding chain, I've been unable to find any close-ups of the clock faces.
