Stereoview Paul Posted 12 January , 2022 Share Posted 12 January , 2022 I have this great image titled as Redan Cemetery, I suspect this was an intermediate location and the bodies relocated to another location nearby. The crosses at the front seem to have been painted can we determine the nationality from this? All help gratefully received - Paul
thetrenchrat22 Posted 12 January , 2022 Share Posted 12 January , 2022 If the graves are at Nieuport, which will be on the Belgian Coast. the graves will be Belgian and I’ve not seen any British graves like that. there are a number of Belgian cemeteries in the area. They may very well be French, not Belgian. It was the French and the British who held the front line near Nieuport. Jan
