As you say, full of very interesting observations and recommendations. The comment about excreta being thrown "over the top" on page 15 is pretty appalling.

Having now had time to read most of this thesis it is a very useful background to the organisation; particularly illuminating are the constructive critiscisms.

I spent a few hours searching through the archive of medicine and have found several subjects including gas casualty treatment, scabies incidence and treatment and other surgical practices. A good source of historical data...
